Reed Flute Cave
They say that the formations look like a city skyline.
Unfortunately, none of our other photographs from inside the cave are much good...We didn't have flash floods, etc., needed for good underground photography. If anyone really wants copies of these pictures, send us an e-mail asking for copies of jpeg's 237 through 242.
Guilin Miscellaneous Photos
On the right is the famous Fo Po Hill.
Not a sunset view, but they were playing at sunset, in our hotel lobby.
This hill is located in downtown Guilin - just across the river from our hotel

Kitty wanted a picture of their boats, which are just 4 or 5 bamboo poles lashed together to form a long raft.
Everyone seem to be prespiring, especially my husband...Gee, it was only about 95 degrees (Farenheit) and over 300 steps up the sheer side of the "hill". Or so he tells me - I didn't go!
That's an island in the Li River, and those little dots are kids swimming around the island.
